Family Friends
Our Family Friends volunteers provide peer one-to-one support to families within Midlothian.
If you are empathic and would like to support a fellow parent who may be feeling isolated or unable to access services on their own please register to volunteer with us. You will need to be able to commit to at least 2 hours per week to support a family. This can be the whole family, parent and child or just parent depending on individual referrals.
We recognise our volunteers’ skills and will work with them to work with the families they support. Ongoing training and reflective time with a therapist is on offer.
